A Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse employees, ensure compliance with all company policies, assist in the training of new hires, and ensure all production, sanitation, and quality standards are met.
Ensure quality and On-Time delivery.
Ensure compliance of sanitation guidelines by warehouse employees.
Monitor employee relations and handle employee issues/problems.
Assist with training new hires and other training as needed.
Oversee the daily actions of employees including performance management.
Ensure all employees are in compliance with safety policies.
Perform audits to monitor quality of employee work.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One to three years of supervisory experience in Warehouse Distribution; preferably in the Grocery Industry.
The ability to supervise groups of twenty-five plus employees.
The flexibility and willingness to work evenings and/or weekends is a must.
Experience working in a Union environment considered a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
