Essential functions of a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting:
A Senior Consultant at Deloitte works within an engagement team and is responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.
Senior Consultants are work-stream leads on projects, responsible for leading team members.
Senior Consultants should expect extensive travel.
Required Skills:
Human Capital Senior Consultants who specialize in HR Transformation enabled by Taleo will have hands-on configuration and implementation experience in one or more of the following modules:
Recruiting
Sourcing
Onboarding
Compensation
Performance Management
Learning
A minimum of 4 years relevant business consulting / industry experience
Experience leading 4
resources through the project life-cycle
Business case development experience
Experience leading requirements gathering workshops or facilitating meetings
Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to travel 80% (Monday through Thursday, weekly)
In addition, successful Senior Consultants will also have the following preferred skills:
MBA from a leading school
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Eagerness to mentor junior staff
Strong presentation skills
