Job Purpose:
The Revenue Cycle Analyst will work with various departments within the organization to develop & improve revenue cycle performance reporting, developing and communicating/presenting analytical findings and to assist in implementation of recommendations to achieve Revenue Cycle performance and revenue objectives.
Specifically the Revenue Cycle Analyst will be responsible for producing periodic performance reports and proactively analyzing key trends to identify opportunities for improvement in organization's performance; work cross functionally to drive the annual revenue forecasting and budgeting process and analyze monthly actual revenue variance to budget to determine root cause of discrepancy; and act as a reporting source of knowledge to identify existing reports, maintain data quality, participate in data quality problem-solving efforts throughout the revenue cycle.
To be effective, must have the ability to quickly learn system and process infrastructure supporting the front, middle, and back-end capabilities of revenue cycle.
Essential Functions:
- In collaboration with business clients and data teams, provide project management information analysis and analytical support
- Analyses of information in order to identify issues
- Accountable for designing, coordinating, analyzing and managing major analytical initiatives
- Ensure appropriate ownership and buy-in on analytical projects and business processes by senior management
- Maintain effective client and peer relationships
- Proactively identify and research key business issues by regularly analyzing trends in organization's performance
- Design analytic approaches and analysis to address business questions or issues
- Participate in interpreting analyses of data, providing recommendations in support of critical business decisions
- Prepare presentations that communicate complex analysis and findings in a simple, concise and interpretable manner
- Supports strategic management decision-making
- Manage high level data quality, participating in or leading data quality problem-solving efforts
- Provide oversight to a team, transfer knowledge and tools to staff and clients through advice, training and coaching activities
- Ability to drive and implement recommendations
- Report analyst duties, e.g., design and develop automated actionable reports to inform managers in a timely fashion
- Data analyst duties, e.g., assists in the research, analysis, and remediation of moderately complex data issues that directly impacts reporting and analysis
- Business systems analyst duties, e.g., help define business rules applicable to the development and/or use of the application

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of analytical experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate ability to pull and analyze data using standard query tools
- Experience with MS Office and BI tools
- Proven skills in project management, including the following attributes: efficient, collaborative, candid, open, and results-oriented. Establish clear performance contracts and project work plans
- Proven ability in presentations and facilitation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (1:1, peer, multi-disciplinary group, presentations, written). Be assertive, objective and be able to confront clients with difficult issues
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Health care/insurance experience
- Specific and broad knowledge of KPNW operations, KP applications, and KP HealthConnect, including Hyperspace, Clarity and ChroniclesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
