1981 LINK-BELT HC-258 for sale in Waldorf, MD

1981 Linkbelt 258 200 Ton Truck $99,000 The current Owner purchased this with intent to rebuild the Crane so will only sale as one unit. The previous owner, had already purchased new cab, some new boom, and had disassembled Crane with intention to finish repairs, but health problems prevented him. We were told the rear, Outrigger Component was damaged when a suspended load broke (rigging failure), causing the boom to fly up over cab. (Thus, he purchased new cab and some new, replacement boom. ) We purchased because Crane has its major components and parts. Have not started repairs. The major component missing is the rear, Outrigger Component. Crane is already disassembled; has some new boom sections (plus old ones); has most parts like diesel engines, transmission, wheels, tires, heavy duty radiator, seat, glasses, counterweights, jib, etc. The rear, Outrigger Section to purchase new from Linkbelt is about $90,000. We figured after purchasing Outrigger Component, prime, paint, and Crane re-assembly we would have around $195,000 invested with labor and the Link belt would be worth around $400,000.00+. This is an opportunity for one who needs 200 Ton Capacity for about half the investment. Since Crane is disassembled would be less logistics costs to new owner.
