Enclosed Cab, A/C, Reach (R) Boom with 9'4" "short stick", 48" trenching bucket and 72" trenching bucket (approx. 5 cubic yd.), variable gauge undercarriage and 36" tracks. This R-boom is the most typical boom and also used with optional 11'10", 13'7", and 15'4" sticks. With tracks set to the outward position, and big bucket, this is a highly productive, very stable machine set up for loading trucks fast . . . its 9'4" stick generates 60,200# of digging force (that's 12% more than the 11'10" stick and 24% more than the 13'7" stick). When you want to transport, you can put tracks in narrower position, dismount stick/bucket, and drop the counterweight with its Counterweight Removal Device.
