Under the clinical direction of radiologist and general supervision of the MRI supervisor, Diagnostic Imaging Center Manager or designee, Technical Director, performs a variety of MRI scanning sequences and imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed radio frequency pulsed sequences of MRI diagnosis.
Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or equivalent hospital based programPossess current ARRT and State of Florida certification to practice medical radiography.
MRI certification by ARRT is desirable for MRI Technologists; must have experience in MRIMust maintain a current CPR certification at all timesCPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required1 year or more radiography experience in an Outpatient Setting is preferredAre you ready to add new facets to your healthcare career?
