6 months Responsibilities Run accelerated lifetime test plans on various mechanical assets such as pumps, valves, and bearings in the test lab with direction from Senior Engineers.
Perform metrology on devices under testSupport and participate in generation of test plans and timeline for testing and assess risks and gaps.
Conduct subsystem and system-level test, verification, and validationConduct testing on components to determine and record damage accumulation.
Manage test lab inventories, handle ordering of lab consumables, interact with vendors, suppliers, etc.
Requirements & Qualifications B.
S.
in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related fields Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systemsComputer programming skills desirableExperience in test development and testing of systems involving sensors and optical, mechanical and electrical hardware Strong analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills Knowledge and successful track record in testing and validation.
Production test experience desirable Hands-on experience in device or system reliability testing and FMEAExperience in statistics, data analysis, visualization and qualification techniques Hands-on experience in collaborating with and managing outside vendors to specify, develop, and qualify test solutions Strong presentation and written communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
