You will:
- Serve as a senior consultant in designing and planning a workforce responsive to changes in mission and business practices.- Provide advice and guidance covering the full spectrum of human capital management issues. - Oversee, advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. - Provide technical oversight, advice and guidance on recruitment and staffing projects, processes, and problems. You do not need a degree to qualify for this position.We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as overseeing Human Resources (HR) operations or managing projects involving HR staffing or classification; developing, interpreting, and/or advising on HR policies and initiatives; and advising management on HR initiatives, policy and programs operations.Your answers to the on-line assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
1) Skill in applying staffing and classification principles, laws, rules, and regulations; 2) Skill in implementing human resources processes and procedures initiatives; 3) Skill in analyzing and evaluating the quality of an organization's processes and work products; 4) Skill in written communication; 5) Ability to plan, organize, and direct the activities of a human resources unit; 6) Skill in applying human resources management practices and techniques; 7) Skill in project management; 8) Skill in oral communication. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
