You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. have a bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in museum studies; or in an applicable subject-matter field such as museum study. (Note:
You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR have a combination of education and experience which includes courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. (Note:

OR have four years of experience that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the four year course of study as shown in A above. In addition to meeting the basic education requirement above, applicants must also meet the following requirement:
To qualify for the GS-11 level, all applicants must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-11). Specialized experience is defined as Ensuring compliance with all federal and local regulations regarding physical security, fire and safety; Recommending techniques and methods to be used for effective presentation and preservation of displayed artifacts; Preparing artifacts for exhibit and maintains artifacts while on exhibit; Researching historical background and authenticity of artifacts and other collections through publications, military histories, and other appropriate sources. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
