The IMDb Editorial team is seeking an editor to create, curate, place, and drive strategy for content on our site, apps, and social-media platforms.
You should know how to write a good headline, how to ensure people actually see it, and how to present data about it.
This editor will work closely with Amazon Studios, in addition to supporting Prime Video, IMDb TV, and numerous internal teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to act as entrepreneur by incubating ideas, experimenting with content solutions, and creating innovate marketing solutions to move multiple teams toward their goals.
You will also have the opportunity to work on key events such as San Diego Comic-Con, the Emmys, the Oscars, and the Sundance Film Festival.
IMDb is the world's most popular and authoritative source for movie, TV and celebrity content.
The IMDb consumer website and mobile apps have a combined audience of more than 200 million unique monthly visitors.
Candidates must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, or both.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Developing and executing upon content-marketing plans with consideration for audience appeal, brand guidelines, and business priorities Establishing repeatable processes to templatize elements of content creation and strategy Reporting on, evaluating, and improving content performance Creating, updating and managing multiple project timelines Crafting and continually testing headlines, supporting imagery, and other elements of content presentation Acting as a stakeholder for large-scale tool and functionality improvements, including writing business requirements and working closely with technical owners through delivery.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
