Associate Vice President for Accounting and Treasury Management
The Associate Vice President for Accounting and Treasury Management will serve as the principal deputy to the Sr. Vice President for Finance & CFO and will lead several cross-cutting and strategic initiatives enhancing the delivery of accounting and treasury operations across the university. Primary responsibilities include regulatory compliance with federal, state and local requirements, financial accounting and reporting standards (GASB) and developing financial strategies for NJIT through effective treasury management functions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for establishing NJIT accounting policies and procedures, preparation of annual financial statements, Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and related disclosures in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, working collaboratively with the University's independent auditors and efficiently managing NJIT cash flows to maximize liquidity and cash reserves. This individual is also expected to remain current on industry-standard best business practices and actively participate in professional organizations.
