Job Description
1. Positionspatient on examination table for optimum testing. Translates procedures into layman's termsbased on professional knowledge in order to relieve patient of pre-testing anxiety.
2. Operates EEG equipment to take electroencephalographictracings. Applieselectrodes on predetermined measured positions on the patient's head and checksperformance, selects predetermined electrode combinations as well as specialcombinations made necessary by the case under study; obtains standardrecordings, recognizing artifacts and taking appropriate steps to eliminatethem.
3. Recordsall abnormal clinical manifestations.
4. Usesactivating procedures such as hyperventilation, photic stimulation and sleep.
5. Monitorsother variables such as electromyograms, electrocardiograms, electrooculograms,respiration, etc.
6. TransportsEEG equipment to patient's rooms and various departments, as required.
7. Calibrates and adjusts EEG equipment. Keeps equipment inclean, operatingcondition, detects instrument malfunctions and makes minor maintenanceadjustments or reports need to major repairs.
8. Abstractsrelevant information from patient's clinical record and obtains additionalinformation as necessary.
9. Filesand/or microfilms recordings.
10. Completesand forwards charge slips for billing purposes, as required.
11. Mayassist in the training of the technical staff.
12. Performs related duties, as required.
Qualifications
HighSchool Diploma or equivalent, required.
Previous clinical EEG Technician experience OR relevant internship,required.Certification, preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
