We have a full-timeContract to Hire opportunity for an experienced Accounting Associate to work onsite for our client locatedin Port Washington, NY.
The Accounting Associateshould have advanced Excel skills, knowledge of debits and credits and monthend close, analytic skills, reconsideration, general accounting basics (both APand AR) and reporting.

Job
Responsibilities:
Assist Accountant with month end close (preparejournal entries and month end results).
Assist Accountant in the preparation of variousreports in Excel (daily sales and P/L)
Customer specific billings (reimbursable staffingand consolidated billing)
Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with internal and external audit request
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Preferred orcomparable work history
3-5 years of Experience
Advance Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, index,etc)
Good communication skills
Typing- 75 wpm
Knowledgeable in AS/400 systems, preferred
Must be a fast learner and able to workindependently to accomplish tasks
Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
