Pharmacist PRN

Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, an 18 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team to coordinate and provide pharmaceutical care to our patients. Essential functions for this position include, but are not limited to:
Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team
Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems
Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students
Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts
Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry. Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians
Maintains adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software
Ability to manage patients in an outpatient anticoagulation clinic, including operation of Point-of-Care testing, evaluation of results, dosing and scheduling
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Education:
Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy - Required
Doctor of Pharmacy - Preferred
At least 1 year hospital pharmacy experience or completion of PGY1 residency -Preferred
License/Certification:
Kentucky Board of Pharmacy in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS), required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
