The governing board of the McIntosh Trail Community Service Board (MTCSB) announces the availability of the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer position.
Organization Overview:
McIntosh Trail CSB is a public behavioral health organization, created as a public authority and instrumentality of the State of Georgia. It is not a division of state government. The service area is comprised of seven counties in West Central Georgia (Butts, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Pike, Spalding and Upson) with a total population of 484,763 (2016 population estimates.) Services are provided in twenty nine (29) locations and include day, outpatient, residential, and crisis stabilization levels of care, for children/adolescents/ adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses, developmental disabilities, addictive diseases, and co-occurring disorders.
The governing board has a maximum of twelve members, representing all seven counties. At least 50% of membership is comprised of consumers of behavioral health services or their family members.
McIntosh Trail CSB serves around 5,500 individuals annually; its FY17 budget is $25 million. The agency has a workforce of 450 full-time, part-time, and contracted staff. Accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF,) McIntosh Trail CSB is licensed by the state's Healthcare Facility Regulation for addictive disease services and several residential group homes. The Crisis Stabilization Residential program is certified by the state's Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer Scope of
Responsibilities:
The Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer is hired by and reports to the MTCSB governing Board.
The CEO is responsible for Board relations, leadership, direction and oversight of all departments and services of the agency, including financial monitoring, risk management, contract management, accreditation/certification oversight, monitoring special projects, and conducting business with and for the governing board, and relations with the external organizations with whom the CSB is affiliated (including GA Dept of Behavioral Health and Developmental disabilities, State CSB Association and Select Systems LLC,) as well as Legislative relations, local networking and partnering, agency newsletter and communications.
Program management is delegated to a team of senior leaders who work under administrative direction of the CEO. The ED/CEO supervises the lead team members and a full-time administrative assistant.
Position Requirements and
Qualifications:
The Board seeks a leader with vision and high ethical standards, who has hope and passion for this work, and who is team-oriented. The successful candidate will be someone who has demonstrated:
Senior administrative/leadership/management skills in a healthcare setting for a minimum of five years
Strong financial background; and has a minimum of a Master's degree.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Master's degree must be in healthcare administration, public or business administration, human services, or a related field.
Experience in behavioral health, business management, is highly preferred; and experience with Community Service Boards and with State & Local government is a plus.
Salary/Compensation:
Salary is based on education and experience, within parameters of the state's Human Resources Administration. Travel reimbursement is provided for business purposes.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
