Rose Senior Living - Clinton Township seeks an Executive Director to join its team. Rose Senior Living - Clinton Township is developed and owned by Edward Rose & Sons, known for creating amenity-rich communities where people can appreciate comfortable and affordable living in beautiful settings. Partnering with Edward Rose & Sons is Ecumen, a not-for-profit organization that has grown to be one of the most innovative leaders in senior housing and services, empowering individuals to live richer and fuller lives. The Clinton Township location consists of 176 units: 74 independent living rental apartment homes, 64 assisted living rental apartment homes and 38 residences for seniors requiring memory care services.
Responsibilities
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of the building by monitoring the delivery of services provided to the residents and ensuring their needs are being met. Also, the Executive Director assists in developing services and/or programs to meet the needs of the resident community, including public relations, marketing and oversight of the building and its programs. Specific responsibilities include:
Maintains budgeted occupancy through ongoing marketing, providing tours and explanation of services to potential clients, families and referrals.
Manages the admission process and paperwork ensuring all staff members are aware of admission date, time, and communicating services to be provided. Follows through the admission process with each resident and assists them during the transition period.
With the Home Care Manager, monitors and maintains resident charts and clinical progress notes, informing physicians, family and other personnel of changes in the resident's needs and conditions.
Meets regularly with the leadership team and staff to ensure issues, concerns and suggestions are addressed and resolved.
Represents facility at community events, and markets to local referral sources.
Responsible for management and supervision of staff, including performance management and training. Ensures leadership team is held accountable for job expectations s defined by Ecumen policies and procedures ensuring that all employees are treated equally and fairly.
Ensures facility is in compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations by routinely inspecting the building, grounds, and equipment assessing areas in in need of improvement and correcting immediately.
Responsible for preparation of annual budget and capital replacement plan, advises supervisor of potential improvements, and budget issues including variances. Collects revenue, and makes timely deposits and payments.
Maintains open lines of communication with residents and staff to monitor levels of satisfaction, and respond appropriately if changes are needed.
Maintains a safe environment and reports all injuries to self, residents, or visitors immediately to the insurance carrier.
Works collaboratively with the Philanthropy team to identify opportunities for funding new services, products and monitoring outcomes.

Qualifications
Minimum Required
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Relevant
Experience: 3-5 years working in leadership position
Current valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
Other knowledge, skills and abilities:
Supervisory experience;
Microsoft office suite;
General accounting and budget preparation;
Able to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, Resident's Bill of Rights, OSHA, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, Right to know, ADA, and SDS.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
