Precision Farming/IT Assistant - M&M Service Company - Litchfield, IL

PURPOSE:
Assists in providing technical support and problem resolution to M&M employees. Assists with Precision Farming functions within M&M Service Company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provides technical support and problem resolution for employees of M&M Service Company.
Assist in configures, installs, and supports computer hardware.
Researches, evaluates and recommends new hardware and software technologies.
Assist in writing specifications and procedures for
Assist and update M&M Service Precision software in custom application machines.
Assists and maintains accurate IT records and Customer Precision records for M&M Service Company.
Monitors equipment replacement needs.
Communicate regularly with Precision Technology Manager
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions, or perform GPS mapping functions.
Attends all meetings, training and seminars as assigned.
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Normally requires an Associate's Degree or agriculture related field or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of related work experience.
May be required to work extended hours and ability to work other than normal business days and hours.
Must posess working knowledge of a computer and Microsoft Office software.
Must posess the willingness and attitude to learn new skills.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Occasionally exposed or required to:
Frequently required to lift 21-50 lbs.
Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
Noisy conditions
Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
May be required to work at varying heights.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
Must have good communication skills, positive attitude, and open minded flexibility.
