Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Travel to offshore platforms into the Gulf of Mexico from Southeast Texas or Southwest Louisiana to gather vibration data from high-speed, rotating equipment
Become proficient with data gathering equipment and software
Develop knowledge of Equipment Maintenance & Reliability for high-speed rotating equipment
Must pass Security background check
Entry-level position for someone wanting a career in Equipment Reliability Management and Analysis
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Level I ISO Certification in Vibration or equivalent from a recognized training organization
Two-Year Technical degree or equivalent experience
0-3 years experience working around High-Speed Rotating equipment
Able and willing to become Offshore certified
Level 1 ISO Certification in Vibration or equivalent from a recognized training organization
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language
Desire to build in-depth knowledge of critical equipment and data acquisition and analysis
Excellent communication and team skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Self-starter with minimal supervision required; ability to work independently, prioritize & organize, to demonstrate flexible behavior and to meet deadlines.
Ability to recognize potential sales opportunities.
Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and adaptable to change.
Ability to pass a background screening and drug test.
Desired Characteristics:
Certification in other reliability condition monitoring technologies such as Ultrasonics and Oil Analysis.
Maintenance & Reliability Background in Power Generation, Oil and Gas production, refining or petrochemical plants
