Electronics Technician I

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc.is seeking a contingent part time Electronics Technician I in Waynesboro, GA.
Summary: The position will work closely with GA staff with the development of assigned aspects the Radiation Monitoring Systems (RMS) in Waynesboro, GA. Under minimal supervision with general direction.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Applies technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned engineering problems
Performs functional testing and troubleshooting of equipment and systems in assigned area by utilizing standard engineering principles.
Operates specialized equipment or performs tests requiring knowledge of processes.
Interprets general instructions, plans sequence of assembly, maintains quality assurance documentation, and prepares sketches and schematics.
Operates specialized equipment and/or performs tests requiring knowledge of processes.
Diagnoses and corrects operational problems or trouble sources in equipment or tests.
Sets up and conducts semi-routine electronic testing (bench, environmental, and electro mechanical testing) records, interprets, and summarizes data and provides reports to management and engineering.
Sets up and operates various test equipment to include, but not limited to power meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, and TDRs.
Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs complex digital and analog circuits down to the component level utilizing established quality processes, standards, and safety regulations.
Completes on-site training is specific to customer and location.
Works in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Required
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field (May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education)
Minimum 4 years of experience.
Ability to diagnose complex mechanical/electrical problems and find effective
Ability to understand detailed instructions, drawings and specific solutions
Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and organizational demands
Ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately through an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables
Ability to go complete a background check, drug test, and submit to on-site training provided by the customer
Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field required
Special skills and expertise to use complex equipment or experimental techniques
Communication skills necessary to write and record precise information
Training and/or experience from the military or a trade school highly desirable
Ability and willingness to work on systems which have unusual conditions such as high pressure, high voltage, high energy, cryogens, or radioactive materials
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance
Expected to work extended hours as necessary
Preferred
Qualifications:
Navy or Commercial Nuclear Power Training and/or experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
