We are currently hiring for our next Market Manager in Arkansas.
TheMarket Manager (MM) is responsible for driving Boston Beer's sales volume andmarket goals through the wholesaler(s) and to the market's respective accountbase. The MM is accountable for increasing the availability and visibility ofthe BBC's portfolio in the market while working closely with the On and OffPremise National Account teams to drive National programs to the account level.The MM must deliver the annual tactical plan to each wholesaler while managingresources to budget. The MM must accomplish these goals while adhering to BBC'sselling process and skills.
WhatYou'll Do:
WholesalerManagement & Planning: Must be able to timely and successfullyorganize and deliver:
Thetactical plan via planning and review meeting to the wholesaler(s) including:volume, distribution and visibility, and programming goals
Objectivesand tactics to achieve goals
Inventoryand POS management
MarketManagement and Development: Must be able to maintain and grow currentbusiness while identifying and closing new business opportunities by:
Identifying and calling on core accounts
Identifyingand prioritizing opportunities for incremental volume
Developingtactics to close identified opportunities through wholesaler
Buildingand maintaining professional business relationships with key accounts toinclude: ownership/management
Sellingand Negotiating Skills: Must know and practice the BBC's sellingprocess and selling skills to include:
Sales call procedures, process, and selling skills
Establishinggoals, creating a selling story, anticipating and handling objections
Bracketing,concession management and negotiation tactics
Portfolioselling
Understandingand supporting wholesaler's needs through solution based selling
Merchandising: Supports brands inconjunction with the wholesaler through:
Executing POS programs at retail to standard
Maintainingproper brand positioning to standard
Executingthe BBC's freshness standards
Promotions: Creates and assistswith executing impactful promotions at On and Off Premise accounts
Communication: Effectively communicates internally and externallythrough:
Creatingand delivering impactful wholesaler and BBC presentations
Wholesaler(s)correspondence through commitments, benchmarking, and recapping
Communicationof inventory needs to the wholesaler network and the BBC's Operations team
Motivating/TeamBuilding; Leadand have strong working relationships by:
Establishingrapport with wholesaler's middle and upper level management
Instillingcommitment and enthusiasm for high levels of performance
Knowledge: Must be current andfluent in:
Brandstyles, brand priorities, national programs and brand strategy
Romancingall products to include style, ingredients and pairings
Brewingprocess and beer history
Beerindustry trends and current market trends
Wholesalerstructure, portfolio, and personnel
Marketand competitors to include: distribution and volume trends, market share,wholesaler network, supplier network
BBC salesdata to include: sales trends, opportunity gaps, customers, competitiveactivities, and BBC/wholesaler activities that affect the market
IRI,Cognos, and other data sources to evaluate BBC business and makerecommendations to retailers, BBC and wholesalers
Knowledgeof competitive brands and pricing
Administration: Deliver andmanage transactional activities/tasks by deadlines
BudgetManagement: Muststay within all allocated budgets:
Managewholesaler's(s) LKMTG and POS budgets
Managepersonal Travel &Expense budget

Bachelor'sDegree
3-5 yearsConsumer Package Sales

Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer
Working conditions:
40%-50% travel (8-10 days per month) to attend Retail andDistributor sales calls and meetings

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
