Human Resource Business Partner

Key Objectives
Provide HRBP expertise to the site on organizational capability and design in order to deliver the BU's business strategy and plans within budgeted staffing and HR costs
Lead pro-active HR support to the business in order to realize future strategies and plans
Liaise and partner with the Country Organizations, Centers of Expertise and Service Providers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR services to the Unit
Liaise and partner with other Americas manufacturing sites to maintain consistency and commonality in organizational design (ALPS)
Principal Accountabilities
Acts as strategic HR Business Partner to the Morris Site
Coaches and partners with employees, leadership and management team on a day to day basis to embed a high performance culture, focusing on leadership and driving accountability
Manages activities in areas of responsibility including performance and talent management, succession planning, organization development, labor relations, staffing including hiring, on-boarding and terminations.
Provide guidance and/or develop input on restructures and operational workforce planning and organization capability.
Develop and deliver HR policies, processes and practices focusing on continuous improvement and improved execution.
Actively participate as an HR Partner within the country organization utilizing the resources provided to ensure consistent practices and making recommendations that will help the site meet their goals.
Responsible for the data integrity and accuracy of headcount, employee programs, maintenance of myHR Global Reporting, and other relevant HRIS systems.

Lead and manage defined projects for the site such as but not limited to:

Implementing Cultural and Organizational change
AN Values and Behaviors
Talent Management Process for the site. Responsible for identifying, managing and promoting career development and building strong succession plans that align with the business strategy.
Functional Responsibilities/Network
Partners with all departments within site management team and broader Business Unit Manufacturing group
Participates as a member of the site Management Teams
Participate as a member of the Human Resource Leadership Team (HRLT) for Surface Chemistry
Collaborate with colleagues in the HR function to drive functional excellence
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years generalist experience preferably to include experience as a specialist in several of the HR disciplines or High school/ Associates degree, ten (10) year generalist experience and human resource certification (PHR, SPHR, etc.)
Strong knowledge in multiple human resources disciplines including engagement, employee relations, labor relations, compensation, organizational design, workforce planning, career development and training, performance management, talent management and employee engagement.
HR management experience in a manufacturing setting.
Must have the capability to work in both a tactical and strategic HR capacity.
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical skills and project management.
Able to work in a matrix environment, building effective relationships with management and functions in a multi-cultural environment.
This role will be required to work out of the Downtown Chicago office 2-4 times a month.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
