Primary focus to service and dispatch the customers, providing product information.
Organize and clean the display cases of the meat market.
Prepare a variety of marinades.
Clean the meat market area, including the carnitas preparation area and freezers.
Give rotation to products in the refrigerator or freezer.
Arrange merchandise and keep inventory control.
Optimize sales.
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards.
Report faulty equipment and hazards to management.
Minimum Requirements
Ability to sell and influence customers to buy more.
Ability to continuously minimize shrinkage.
Ability to respond to customer needs and solve problems.
Ability to manage freezers including: cleaning, organizing and maintaining the area presentable.
Basic knowledge of different Mexican meat cuts.
Ability to learn new meat cuts.
Basic knowledge of product positioning and the separation of chicken, beef, cheese, chicharr n y barbacoa, etc.
Knowledge of health standards.
Conversational Spanish
Ability to manage temperatures.
Basic knowledge of how to prepare marinades and how to make chicharr n.
Basic knowledge of how to receive the meat market products from suppliers.
Physical Requirements:
Lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
Ability to flex, kneel, bend and stoop.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to withstand cold temperatures in the freezers.
