Job Description
Performs assessments, planning and implementation of counseling and education services for substance abuse rehabilitation patients.
Responsibilities
-Provides assigned patient counseling systematically and continually assesses the patient's coping mechanisms in collaboration with the patient/family.
-Utilizes appropriate teaching methods and/or referrals to ensure patient's needs are met.
-Assesses, collaborates and coordinates patients discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge with other members of the care team.
-Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Masters Degree
Certifications:
LPC and CADC, BLS, or LISW
Physical Requirements:
Ability to navigate throughout the treatment center and manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer entry on a keyboard. Requires frequent sitting, standing, and data entry. Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
