Shear Operator
Job Description
Established metal fabrication company located in Ogden has an immediate opening for a Shear Operator.
Qualifications
Ability to maintain quality and safety.
Must be familiar with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum identification.
Must be able to read a tape measure, and perform simple arithmetic.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to troubleshoot, detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects (up to 75 pounds)
Ability to follow simple directions both written and verbal.
Forklift experience would helpful.
