Job Description
Looking for an aide for my 17 y old high functioning autistic son. Applicant should be friendly, very patient, and have a love for the disabled. This is a part-time position, with afternoon and evening hours, and Saturdays as able. Flexible schedule between 5-20 hours a week. We are looking for someone to help him get out into the community and assist him to improve in socialization, safety awareness, and other skills, as well as have fun!. Activities are flexible, and can include water parks, bowling, miniature golf, shopping, etc. In home activities such as cooking will also be helpful.
Responsibilities
Prefer applicants who have experience working with autistic kids. $11
per hour depending on experience. All expenses and mileage paid.
Qualifications
Applicant needs a valid drivers license and vehicle. Be willing to complete a background check. Ideally between the ages of 17-25. Those who live in the Bountiful area will be best suited for this position.
