Injection Molding Production Manager
Basic Purpose
Plan, direct and coordinate all departmental activities through shift supervisors/process technicians.
Meet or exceed plant objectives and goals through efficient use of resources.
Key responsibilities include:
providing leadership and direction; meeting production demands; compliance with safety and policies and procedures continuous improvement.
Essential Functions

Establish and maintain a culture focused on establishing and following safe working practices, process control, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Develop and manage departmental budget.

Plan, direct and coordinate production activities.

Meet key metrics in the areas of safety, cost, quality and service.

Participate in the process of hiring, training, and development of shift leaders, technical staff, and operators.
Minimum Qualifications
-
5 years of experience as a process technician in injection molding.

Experience in training, directing, and coordinating the activities of others in a manufacturing environment.

Above average verbal and written communication skills.

Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
-
Must have DB entry and reporting experience.

History of achievement, innovation, initiative, self-improvement, involvement and leadership.
-
Positive associate relations approach and experience promoting teamwork.

Good analytical and computer systems skills.

Experience with lean manufacturing practices.
