Job Description The Concierge/Marketing Representative functions as a qualified and experienced concierge, while actively marketing Vacation Ownership to our guests by inviting them to attend our sales presentation.
Essential Functions: Generate interest about vacation ownership and schedule appointments for guests to attend our Sales Presentations at the Sheraton Steamboat Villas. Provide outstanding customer service to all guests and visitors of the Resort. Provide assistance prior to arrival for all hotel guests that will deliver all critical information needed in preparing for any vacation (such as: what to pack, current resort temperature, directions to resort, etc.) Reconfirm pertinent reservation details or guests' requests that will be passed on to the Front Desk, such as special occasions, early check-in request, amenity orders, special room needs such as ADA accessible or cribs. Requirements Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are required. Minimum of one (1) year Customer Service experience required. Prior experience of at least six (6) months in Sales and/or Marketing preferred. Extensive knowledge of local area (Steamboat Springs, CO) is required. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings and/or evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. Physical Requirements: Typical office environment with extensive computer usage, telephone usage, and sitting for extended periods of time. Stairs are a part of the building structure; therefore, climbing stairs may be necessary. Processing of paperwork requires visual observation. Verbal communication is necessary for interacting with guests and owners. Lifting and carrying office supplies and marketing materials weighing up to 20 pounds is required.
