About this role:

The Senior Manager, Information Security Information Security Assurance will conduct complex, third party assurance and contract reviews, negotiate and draft information security agreements, lead, coordinate or support activities related to third party information security audits, and research or investigate global information security & privacy regulations to determine requirement and applicability to third party agreements.

The Sr. Manager will also collaborate with legal, contracts, procurement, vendor management and business development teams to support and enforce the company's information security assurance, risk, and privacy programs. He or She will set, manage, and implement UPS global Information Security policies, strategies and best practices in the areas of third party Information Assurance and provide contractual and Information Security risk guidance to the peer level and executive level management teams.

Additionally, the Senior Manager will be expected to lead and manage a highly skilled team of information security analysts; auditors and contract specialist to ensure UPS Information Security Assurance requirements are continually met or exceeded. Management responsibilities also include providing job training, coaching and mentoring for direct team members, overseeing budget plans, and developing long-term, strategic plans for global Information Security Assurance Program.

Minimum
Qualifications:

The Senior Manager, Information Security must have demonstrable leadership and personal organizational and management skills. Must be able to work in a complex, security, regulatory, and legal environment and lead/mentor others to do the same quickly and effectively.

Personal and Organizational Skills:

  • Business Leadership - Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Contract Management - Experience in reviewing and negotiating third party agreements related to information security risk and/or privacy
  • Risk Management - Understanding and knowledge of Information Security Risk Management principles
  • Third Party Process Management - Must have experience working with external third parties in contractual negotiation, information security risk management and auditing processes
  • Management - Demonstrable experience building and leading highly skilled and motivated work teams.
  • Project Management - Ability to lead projects from inception through completion.
  • Presentation Skills - Must be proficient in presenting to leadership on a regular basis
  • Influencing - Ability to inform, and educate key stakeholders on priorities and risks in specific agreements or assurance efforts
  • Creative Problem Solving - Analytical creativity and problem solving skills, focusing on driving and achieving results in timely fashion

Professional Qualifications and Certifications

  • Must possess or be qualified to quickly obtain two or more of the following professional certifications:
    CISSP, HCISPP, CRISC, CISA, or have demonstrable experience in the field of Information Security Contracts and Third Party Information Assurance and Auditing.

Preferred Educational
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Systems, Juris Doctor, Engineering or other qualified, professional degree

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
