The Corporate Counsel is the commercial and contractual lead in the Americas Legal & Business Affairs Department on simple and complex commercial, international, and procurement agreements for the region, which includes US, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Reporting to the General Counsel, Americas, this position will review, draft, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents for Detection in the Americas, support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes & policies, and provide legal support in other areas as needed including corporate governance, transactions, and litigation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
