Sr. SharePoint Developer

The successful candidate must have direct experience implementing Microsoft SharePoint based solutions. The candidate will work as a member of a team to design and implement SharePoint based solutions which address a range of business needs which may involve collaboration, workflow, content management, document management, or business intelligence / reporting.
Additional job functions include:
Assess business process and suitability for solution implementation using the Microsoft SharePoint 2013 platform.
Provide content management strategies for intranet and extranet websites on the SharePoint platform.
Design solutions based on established patterns and best practices around Content Management, User Adoption, Governance and Change Management.
Design and develop apps for SharePoint that take advantage of standard web technologies, such as CSOM, JavaScript, OAuth, and OData.
Analyzing current SharePoint 2010 environments and provide guidance on effective migration path to the SharePoint 2013 platform.
Design, develop, customize team sites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows.
Provide support and guidance to users on SharePoint 2013 features and functionalities.
Attend internal and external customer meetings as required.
Provide technical advice to team members and customers.
Develop and deliver requirements and design documents.
Required Skills:
8-10 years of software development experience with 3 years in SharePoint.
Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Hands-on experience designing SharePoint 2013 solutions.
In depth understanding of the capabilities of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2010.
SharePoint experience must include designer and custom workflows, BCS, JQuery, CAML, custom web parts, .NET event receivers, navigation, and branding & customization.
Experience developing apps for SharePoint client object model, JavaScript Object Model, and REST.
Excellent customer service and communications skills.
Analytical skills to discover business problems, identify possible causes, and design quick and effective solutions.
Custom workflows with SharePoint Designer.
Advanced knowledge and experience in RDBMS and SQL (Sybase, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.)
Desirable Skills:
SharePoint 2013 Certification(s).
SharePoint migration experience using products such as AvePoint DocAve or Metalogix
