Lead consumer communication efforts for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation including: strategy, implementation, brand alignment and program tracking across omni channels. Manage assigned staff, as well as internal (OEM brand partners) and external vendor relationships (including agencies). Responsible for editorial direction, production and distribution within budget to meet target objectives.
Job Functions
Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive communication and loyalty program(s) that will enhance the Organizations image and position within the marketplace and the general public.
Ensure articulation and consistent communication of Organization's desired image and position, throughout to all end consumers.
Assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all external consumer communications.
Ensure that the Organization regularly conducts relevant consumer research.
Coordinate and oversee this activity, and monitor trends.
Develop internal and external publications such as newsletters, email announcements, planned publications, consumer portal, video, special project and assignments.
Act as an internal consultant to bring attention and solutions to consumer priorities, as well as drive corporate strategy and message development.
Minimum Qualifications
Job Knowledge and Skill:
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of consumer communication activities. Strong oral / written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills. Demonstrated successful experience in copy writing, communication materials, and negotiating with vendors. Experience in overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Experience:
Ten or more years of related communication experience at a professional level, five years of experience in a Captive Finance Company. Experience working with auto dealers or similar types of distributorship.
Supervisory
Experience:
Two or more years as a manager, providing leadership, coaching, guidance, and training and contributing to staff development. Supervised subordinates or contractors with somewhat differentiated roles. Subordinate positions carried several different titles. Functions, though similar in objective, were distinct.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required. MBA preferred.
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and/or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products. Advanced skills in Power Point presentations.
Travel:
Occasional overnight travel.
