Job Summary/Essential Functions
:
Start Something Big with Eastern Washington University. We are currently seeking one or more team-oriented individuals to join our Dining Services team as Production Shift Leads. These positions are responsible for working in independent food service operations on campus with little supervision. The positions include food production, ordering, customer service, daily receipts and sanitation for a remote food service area such as a bistro, concession stand, deli, catering, or a production station. This is a 10-month position with the possibility of picking up shifts during the cyclic time off.
On top of salary, the University offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance and retirement. -- This position requires a valid food handler's permit and a valid driver's license.
-- The successful candidate must be able to work weekends and evenings.
-- The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
-- The successful candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
-- This position, during the course of university employment, will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value, as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 18.
