Job Description:
The Assistant Relationship Manager will be responsible for supporting the marketing, business development, and loan and deposit origination goals of the Association Banking Team with a focus on relationship management. Role is responsible for support as it relates to new client opportunities and managing existing client portfolio. Duties will also include direct support and coordination of internal stakeholders.
The responsibilities for the role are as follows:
1. Maintain and help establish key external relationships involved in sourcing and supporting community association loan and deposit origination. Receive customer calls and answer related questions. 25%
2. Aid business development officers with underwriters and closers to loan funding and/or deposit origination and implementation. 25%
3. Support marketing strategies related to community associations. Assist in the establishment and management of key intermediary network of management agents, accountants and attorneys specializing in the community association markets. Participate actively in all related industry conferences, specifically the Community Association Institute through attendance at trade shows and other marketing events. 30%
4. Special projects related to product development. 15%
5. Participate in business development and strategy meetings. Track and report business development activities; pipeline management. 5%
Bachelors Degree required with 2-5 years of sales/business development experience preferred. Property management background or direct experience working with community associations required. Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Experience with Pipeline Deals or other CRM software or services preferred. Must be wiling to travel 20% of time in NY, NJ, PA, DC, and CA.
