Duties: Apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts, as well as experience using standard occupational tools, to perform the following duties: Develop and execute multi-tiered web applications on windows client and server operating systems. Design, develop, test, and support .NET web-based applications using, among other .NET tools, C#, Common Language Runtime (CLR), .NET Framework, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET and Spring.NET. Modify existing software to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Analyze existing business processes and systems. Develop and implement software unit testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Document the requirements needed to implement solutions that meet the clients business needs. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Create and perform unit test cases. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. The foregoing duties involve supervision of projects only, not personnel. May perform additional job duties as needed.
Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or any related IT or Engineering field of study that provided the required skills and knowledge, and 6 months of experience in any related position providing the required skills and abilities. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantially compatibility with stated job academic level and experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
No travel or telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the United States that may require relocation.
