has an opening for a FT Accountant/ Bookkeeper.
This position will include handling of, but not limited to, day-to-day operational functions such as cash balances, payroll, human resource functions, bank reconciliations, and manual journal entries in order to issue financial statements, and month-end close.
Strong attention to detail needed as well as a high level of organization to manage the high volume of transactions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- AS/BS in Accounting is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a relevant accounting role, where responsibility for operational accounting and balance sheets is required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Quickbooks is required.
