Assistant Manager
Assistant Manager needed for high volume express exterior format car wash in Queen Creek, Az.
The Assistant Manager will help management develop and maintain a team of people to deliver clean, dry, shiny vehicles to customers in a safe, speedy, and friendly manner while continually controlling the costs of operation and the appearance of the facility.
Key Results of an assistant manager are to assist management by
1. Increasing car wash volume through outstanding customer service
2. Maintaining a clean, attractive and safe facility
3. Maintaining the quality of the wash
4. Maintaining equipment through regular maintenance procedures.
5. Maintaining budgeted operational costs.
6. Developing the skills of the location team to achieve the results above.
7. Reducing damage claims from customers below 1% of gross revenue.
Key Activities are to assist the manager in
1. Recruitment, selection, and training all location personnel.
2. Resolving customer complaints and damage claims.
3. Developing the weekly schedule for all employees.
4. Mentoring/redirecting/coaching employees to ensure compliance to company procedures.
5. Monitoring and ensuring correct chemical usage.
6. Monitoring/ensuring adherence to all equipment and lot maintenance schedules.
7. Completing all required written reports in the allotted time frame
8. Checking every customer's vehicle before they enter the car wash to ensure that the
vehicle does not have any visible safety issues.
9. Facilitating the speedy processing of customer's vehicles by following the correct
procedures for every vehicle through the car wash.
10. Continually cleaning all areas of the car wash to ensure that the customers see a clean,
attractive facility, as well as all of the surrounding property.
11. Smiling at customers whenever they are in eye contact
12. Continually learn about and perform routine maintenance on the car wash equipment.
13. Performing minor equipment repairs as trained and directed.
14. Performing good customer service whenever a customer asks a question or makes a
comment. Positive contact with employees is important to customers' overall experience.
