Sr. Systems Analyst
Nallas Corporation in Newtown, PA is seeking experienced Sr. Systems Analysts to Assist Project Managers in analyzing procedures, systems and related data processing to develop reports, supporting tools and data infrastructure in order to improve and optimize existing systems and programs. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of computer science principles and concepts, as well as experience using standard occupational tools, to perform the following duties and
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager in maintaining a delivery-orientated approach to developing reports and their supporting tools and data infrastructure.
- Coordinate initiation and implementation of Data Visualization initiatives.
- Coordinate and work with analysis teams to ensure deliverables fulfill business requirements and quality levels.
- Create customized reporting and data visualization tools used to analyze system functionality and efficiency.
- Write SQL queries for databases operating on Oracle or Sybase.
- Perform optimization and tuning of databases.
- Perform data analysis, data profiling and documenting/population of a data sources.
- Interpret functional and non-functional specifications into design solutions.
- Ensure successful project delivery with strict adherence to reporting and data practices and the production of all necessary documentation.
- Mentor junior-level members in the department where appropriate, providing guidance and knowledge transfer.
The foregoing duties do not involve any project management nor supervision of personnel.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) field of study that provided the required knowledge and abilities, plus three (3) years of related experience that provided the required skills and abilities.
In lieu of the above-stated primary academic and experience requirements, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) field of study that provided the required knowledge and abilities, and five (5) years of related, progressive, post-degree experience that provided the required skills and abilities.
Individual must have demonstrated proficiency and experience with:
1. SQL
2. Oracle and Sybase
3. Design and develop reports using Business Intelligence tools
4. Analyze data and transform using ETL
5. Performance turning of reporting engines and databases
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.

Job Site: Newtown, PA
No Travel; no telecommuting; Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the United States which may require relocation at the end of the project.
