Summary:
This position is responsible for implementing and managing Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs. Provide strategic consultations and operational HR support to the Human Resources staff, employees, and the management team. This also includes managerial oversight of recruitment, payroll, employee relations, safety, and management support functions.
Day-to-Day Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and services to management and employees regarding HR strategies, HR operations, programs, systems, employee relations, safety and compliance issues (benefits, OSHA).
- Provides technical expertise and accuracy as they relate to HR functions, positively impacts employee commitment, and acts as a change consultant to support company mission, values and initiatives.
- Support company initiatives in the design, communication and execution of strategic HR solutions to address issues and/or improve HR processes and systems.
- Design, communicate and execute site specific solutions to address issues or improve processes including but not limited to: recruitment, retention, performance management, compensation, employee development and job qualification, succession planning, etc.
- Manages payroll function (full cycle) for all hourly and salaried employees.
- Recruit for all open positions (hourly and salaried).
- Monitor all company and temporary employee hours for meal wage compliance and for accuracy.
- Monitor bonus and performance review program.
- Participate in OSHA hearings and unemployment hearings.
- Manage unemployment claims.
- Manage company leave policy.
- Utilize internal and external training resources to address training within the facility and conduct training as necessary or applicable.
- Responsible for programs such as the site Affirmative Action Plan, 401 (k) 5500 filing, and OSHA 300 log, supporting workers' compensation program policies.
- Conduct and/or support investigations pertaining to employee concerns and complaints, accidents, and other issues.
- Stay current on legal requirements and ensure site policies, procedures and reporting requirements are in compliance.
- Coordinate, plan and lead (as applicable) new hire orientations, education and training for management and employees.
- Ensure timely and consistent delivery of training programs.
- Manage and develop site HR staff.
- Manage and coordinate workforce planning to include job postings and recruitment for site staffing needs.
- Manage compensation and performance management programs to ensure equitable and consistent treatment of all employees.
- Manage uniform and locker program.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Perform all duties in accordance with environmental, safety, and employment and wage and hour rules and regulations.
- Report to work as scheduled; be on time from lunch, breaks, and at the beginning of the shift.
- Follow the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food standards (SQF) and safety rules (including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
