Junior Software Engineer

Currently seeking a Junior Level Software Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in the Greater Dayton Ohio.
This individual will be responsible for the enhancement and support on a enterprise level core document delivery system.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Java.
Job Duties &
Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, and deploy application changes and enhancements.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues.
Consult with internal and vendor resources on design, code and test reviews.
Provide technical guidance in one or more center of expertise.
Communicate with internal resources on new system features and enhancements.
Work with cross-functional project teams to ensure integrity of process changes.
Work with development and support teams to find workarounds for system issues.
Follow work standards and guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in all phases of system and/or product development.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or computer engineering is required.
Ability to work independently and in a cooperative team environment in all phases of the development life cycle.
Excellent communications skills to be able to communicate with internal resources on new system features and enhancements.
Ability to work on projects of advanced complexity and make decisions within your ability and authority.
Ability to work through complex problems and reach a workable solution.
