Pre-Requisites: The pre-requisites for the Engineering Clerk in education, training and experience
are listed below. In certain special cases, additional experience and/or training can
be substituted for education and vice versa.

Education: High School Diploma; GED; or adequate experience to substitute.
Training: Computer and Engineering, AutoCAD
Experience: Process Engineering

Expectations: As Engineering Clerk, interpret then implement the necessary actions and activities to the company's operating and profit goals. ADD MORE VALUE, as they relate to the assigned operational areas. Provide daily and weekly reports as necessary or as requested by the President to keep him fully informed of the performance or status of all the operations of the department. Any special assignments as required. Daily, ensure the effective utilization of company resources, i.e. manpower, materials, machines, and facilities.

II. Specific Responsibilities
A. Document File Maintenance
1. Maintains Master Document File.
2. Maintains Master Quote File.
3. Maintains Initial Part Number Master Document List.
4. Maintains Master Customer Print Log and File.
5. Maintains File of Customer Standards.
6. Maintains Cost Variance Log.
7. Maintains Item Quote Log.
8. Maintains List of Off Inventory Items for Electro Seal.
9. Maintains Master Forms File.

B. Calculations
1. Prepares Saw Calculations.
2. Gathers the information and prepares the basic quote for new items.

C. Software Usage
1. Prepares and updates Filmmakers' Software for components and
assemblies listing:
(a) Raw material to be used and its costs.
(b) Components to be used and their costs.
(c) Outsource process to be done and their costs.
(d) Operations to be done and their cycle times.
(e) Non-standard tooling, fixtures, form tools, collets, pusher, assembly
tooling, etc.
2. Makes basic AutoCAD drawings for components and assemblies. Made
from customer supplied prints, samples, pictures and printed material.
3. Makes entries into Macola for new items and Engineering Change
Notices.

D. Process Planning
1. Gather the following information to prepare the process sheets for new items:
(a) Process Control Plan.
(b) ASM Layout Sheet.
(c) CNC Layout Sheet.
(d) Haas Layout Sheet.
(e) Secondary Layout Sheet.
(f) Individual Control Chart.
(g) Process Control Chart.
(h) Receiving Instruction Sheet.
(i ) Quality Planning Sheets.
(j ) Process Parameter Sheet.

E. Engineering Change Requests/Engineering Change Notices
1. Maintains Engineering Change Request File.
2. Maintains Engineering Change Notice File.
3. Gathers information and prepares paper work for ECR's/ECN's.
4. Chairs the Engineering Change Notice meetings.

F. General
1. Keeps the President informed of anything that could affect the
performance and profitability of the company.
2. Performs any other duties, not specifically stated herein, but which may be
assigned by the President and those that are logically properly inherent to
this position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
