Position
Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced Voice and Data Technicians long term opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data equipment. This contract will require Extensive Travel (With Per Diem) and lots of Overtime.

The ideal Cable Technician candidate must possess the following:
Cable Technicians MUST have experience working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, power limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, Category 5, Category 6, single and multi -mode fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes: pulling, placement, termination, testing, and labeling. Knowledge of Telecom systems, TCP/IP networks, and wireless solutions required. BICSI cert (current or past) a plus, but not needed. Cage build, rack install, fiber & copper cabling, (Testing abilities a plus) labeling. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. Must pass drug and background checks.

Job
Responsibilities:
Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 in a large commercial environment
Terminating data jacks
Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
Must be comfortable working off lifts
Ability to install various types of data switches
Basic scope of work includes:
Pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.

years experience installing voice and data systems in a commercial environment.
Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and to provide two professional references.
Reliable vehicle and valid driver license.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
