Summary:
Work with New Product Development teams and manage the New Component Check List. This position will manage all aspects of supplier activities in NPD and utilize the necessary training, process, performance metrics, and communication plan to effectively address the supplier needs across the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supplier selection, cost reductions, PPAP, qualifications, responsiveness, and value chain. An individual with the appropriate purchasing, industry and supplier experience would be best qualified for the position.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Participate in the Concept Phase in New Product Development inclusive of supply base assessment, cost estimates, risk assessment and resource requirements in conjunction with Product Mgmt, Design Engineering and Commodity Purchasing Team Leaders
Manage the entire NPD life-cycle; inclusive of development, pilot, pre-launch and production phases.
Support all aspects of New Component Sourcing ('NCS') supply chain identification, selection, and development, and update and maintain Supplier Self-Assessment and Supplier Validation forms as applicable in conjunction with Commodity Purchasing Team Leaders
Manage and coordinate resource needs as appropriate within Supplier Quality, Production, Engineering, Ops, Etc.
Provides linkage between NPD team and Commodity Purchasing Team Leaders
Provide New Business Opportunity ('NBO') and Design To Cost ('DTC') estimates for all newEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
