Network Engineer


Title: Network Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Hartford, WI
8 month contract, $ 64.50 - 67.50 an hour
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain existing LAN/WAN infrastructure
Create and design network topology diagrams and build plans to align with industry best practices
Interact and corresponds with Corporate IT resources for projects such as legacy network switch overs, firewall configuration, etc.
Manage and maintain data center infrastructure (networking, cooling, power, etc.)
Possesses ability to troubleshoot difficult networking issues, including loss of connectivity, degraded connectivity, etc., for both wired and wireless networks
Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot configurations on multiple load balancers (Barracuda, F5, AWS ELB, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain internal SIP gateway
Possesses a strong knowledge of SAN infrastructure
Consult on SAN management and design as needed
Instruct and train others on networking best practices
Ability to administer and maintain VMWare/vSphere environments, including General administration, template management, VM backup, etc.
Monitors health of critical machines
Some Windows server troubleshooting

Qualifications:
The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Infrastructure Networking environment.
Other:
1. Working Knowledge of :
a. LAN/WAN Infrastructure Design and Implementation
b. Firewall and Load Balancer theory and implementation
c. SAN infrastructure theory and design.
2. Familiar with:
a. VMware and virtualization theory and infrastructure.
3. Detail oriented, well organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to effectively manage several concurrent tasks or projects.
5. Ability to troubleshoot difficult network issues across LAN/WAN technologies.
6. Ability to interact professionally with all levels of employee.
7. Ability to handle confidential information.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
