Prior knowledge of NASA mission and culture and previous experience in a customer facing role a plus.
Functions independently as the subject matter expert in the field of Privacy Management. Ability to review IT system and IT application's Privacy and Controlled Unclassified information (CUI) assessments to ensure completeness and compliance with federal and Agency regulations and support any NASA Center data breach response team activities. Thorough knowledge of the Federal Privacy, Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) and CUI regulation, Office of Management and Budget memos pertaining to privacy information protection, NASA Privacy, SBU/CUI Policies, with special focus on privacy information collection and compliance. Other duties may include:
o Responsible for monitoring the IT security infrastructure, assisting with articulating technical security requirements, monitoring the effectiveness of existing IT security framework, making recommendations for enhancements, and raising the level of security awareness.
o Establish controls to support security and privacy policies/procedures and oversee their implementation.
o Responsible for responding to and resolving information security incidents, to include coordination, root cause analysis, and other security investigation activities.
o Facilitate development, design, and implementation of proposed updates, enhancements and new functionality so that enterprise privacy and security is maintained.
o Investigate privacy and security issues and complaints and work toward resolution.
o Coordinate the development and administration of security policies, practices, and standards as well as effective security awareness programs.
Must be skilled in MS Office Suite. Strong attention to detail is required.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills are critical to interface well with internal and external customers.
Education and Experience Required:
o BS Degree in computer science or related field and minimum 10
years experience required. Master's degree desired.
o Familiarity with IT Privacy Management as applied to NASA standards a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
