Mid/Senior Application Developer
Learn, Apply, and Grow as you enhance the software of our ProgressBook suite. You will expand your technical skills while serving a higher purpose of improving learning for K-12 students. The candidate best suited for this position will have a strong foundation of web-based development with Microsoft technologies and a passion for developing quality software applications. You will expand your technical skills by assisting with adding enhancements, working on compliance issues, maintaining legacy code, and planning for a rewrite.
Expectations of the Application Developer
Increase product value by developing, coding, testing and debugging software applications
Interpreting customer requirements to improve the software applications
Work with a team to research, design, and rewrite software
Work with others to understand and plan resolution to issues in existing software
Technical Skills
Knowledge of ASP.NET Webforms, ,C#, SQL ,HTML, Javascript, jQuery, MVC, VB.Net
Experience with NHibernate/ORM
Experience
College degree or equivalent experience in a computer technology field
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience
Understanding of web-based applications, object oriented programming, and relational database management systems
Enjoy solving problems and continually learning new technologies
Driven to accomplish individual goals
Appreciate the value of collaborating with others for ideas and timeline commitments
