Education:
- B.S. or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Abilities:
- Proven excellence in designing high-precision equipment that is able to grab and manipulate delicate and brittle materials; experience with silicon, ceramics, glass plates, or III-V compound semiconductors preferred.
- Experience calculating Finite Element Analysis for structural and thermal properties; linear FEA and fatigue analysis a plus.
- Advanced use of 2D and 3D modeling software and CAD programs.
In this role you will use your knowledge of brittle materials and expertise in mechanical design to imagine and draft designs for movement systems that handle glass sheets, silicon wafers, thin ceramics etc.
Provide advanced analysis using GD&T, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to determine stress limits before material failure.
Starting base salary to $130,000 with medical, dental and vision insurance. Matched 401(k) plan and generous PTO for personal and sick days, vacation packages and paid holidays. Relocation assistance provided. Plenty of opportunities to advance in this industry leader.
