Network Admin / IT Technician

We are currently looking to fill the role of Network Admin/ IT Technician to work with our business clients in the St. Louis area . This is a great opportunity for someone with an aptitude for learning, willingness to go the extra mile and who thrives on solving problems on his/her own. You'll be exposed to a wide variety of technologies and you'll work on various key projects from server management (AD/GPOs) and server replacement to pc swaps and even a little cable termination.
Again, there is a great deal of variety in the role from day to day. One day may be some pc swaps, next day only remote support work on some servers, followed up by a large wifi install project and then a another day might be configuring a VOIP phone system.
To be considered for this role, you must meet or exceed the following:
Ability to learn new concepts on the fly with minimal direction.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as a professional manner and appearance.



Technical experience in:
Microsoft Windows OS's (desktop and server)
Microsoft Active Directory
Virtualization concepts
Firewall configuration (Cisco, Sonicwall, Watchguard, etc.)
Networking concepts and troubleshooting
Hardware and software troubleshooting
Backup best practices
Security best practices
Low voltage wiring and termination knowledge desired but not necessary (Ethernet, phone, etc.)
Linux experience a plus but not required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
