AFS has been locally owned and operated since 2000. Today we are one of largest basement waterproofing and foundation repair contractors in Alabama, Chattanooga, TN and Columbus, GA.
Duties /
Responsibilities:
o Foreman, (1) assigns tasks of installer(s), (2) motivates and trains installers on proper handling of materials and tools and approved methods of installation of waterproofing and foundation repair, (3) ensures company policies and procedures, as well as safety guidelines, are followed, (4) tracks hours of installers, and (5) moves job progress to completion at a pace to ensure efficiency and quality.
o Communicates with the customer throughout the job to aid in understanding and satisfaction of work. Ensures that customer is aware of any changes to job before making any such change. Provides customers with business card and required paperwork at job completion.
o Reviews job specifications to determine materials, tools and equipment needed for the job, and loads the truck with materials.
Skills / Requirements:
o Valid driver's license
o Ability to travel overnight during the week
o Ability to maintain a 60 hour work week during the busy season
o Perform physical labor and get rewarded with excellent pay and benefits
o Unrestricted lifting ability
o Clean driving background
o Construction experience preferred
o Excellent communication
o Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed.
