OUR CLIENT: A global manufacture / supplier (EXPANDING) with advanced manufacturing facilities and product lines. This high volume manufacture is looking for their next Operations Manager to continue to lead a growing corporation. Take on plant operations role with ever increasing responsibilities as you gain more exp. with their products. Lead a staff of Production Supervisors as you oversee all production operations. Be part of the senior management staff.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Overall direction and management of plant production supervisors along w/ their supporting staff.
- Support of Lean manufacturing and Lean initiative throughout the plant.
- Oversee day to day plant production operations including the direct input to key decisions on future growth and plans with this corporation including staff.
- Work in a modern / automated environment with exciting product lines.
- Be part of the development of employee training, evaluation, and organizational development
- Work with executive management on plant expansion plans/goals as they take on new product lines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred but will work consider exp.
Automotive experience (A Must Have)
Minimum of 5
years of successful Plant Production experience
Plant Operations and Staff reporting structure exp.
Strong plant floor hands-on manufacturing exp.
Strong understanding of budgetary development and management
Exp. working with stampings, plastics, extrusions or rubber a big plus!
Demonstrated Team building or organizational development (employees) exp.
Outstanding interpersonal, organization and management skills and flexibility to think out of the box and lead your plant management team in dealing with increasing NEW business/products
Must be a hands-on dynamic contributor w/ a demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic and proven track record as a leader/trainer.
