Methuen Construction is currently seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join our team.
Project Administrators are responsible for managing information as well as internal and external relationships critical to a project's success. The Project Administrator works directly with the Project Management Team and provides support on all administrative phases of the project, using Excel spreadsheets, Word and Timberline Project Management software as well as managing and administering Paperless Project processes.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
o Generate, process, and administer Purchase Orders, Subcontracts and Change Orders, from both the Client and Vendor sources
o Project document control and tracking
o Implementation of dunning procedures to ensure timely deliverables
o Administer Paperless Project processes
The qualified candidate shall possess the following skills and knowledge:
o Previous construction experience strongly desired
o Project Administration and Support experience
o Proficiency with MS Excel and Word
o Timberline Project Management experience a plus
o Strong Organizational Skills - The ability to utilize the current systems and create new systems to ensure efficiency. Must be effective and precise in processing, filing and completing paperwork
o Excellence in Customer Service - the ability to work well with others (i.e. Teammates, Vendors, Sub-Contractors and Customers)
o Strong Problem Solving Skills
o Strong initiative
o Personal commitment to team environment, safety, customer satisfaction and quality control
o Attention to Company Policies: Follow all Company Policies/Procedures regarding security, harassment-free environment, compliance to Code of Ethics, Business Conduct
